There is water flowing from the upper end of the generator in the absorber, and the water absorbs (dissolves) the ammonia in the ammonia-hydrogen mixed gas, forming a concentrated ammonia liquid that flows into the lower part of the generator. The hydrogen rises back to the evaporator because of its light specific gravity. In this way, a continuous absorption-diffusion refrigeration cycle is realized.
